KINGSTON, N.Y., Nov. 10, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Loud-Hailer, an innovator in hyper-local digital
communications, is pleased to announce the launch of their first Connected City app,
Providence2GO. The app, which uses Loud-Hailer's cutting-edge, non-beacon based
proprietary mesh networking technology, allows residents and visitors to experience the city of
Providence in a way never seen before.

Powered by proprietary, patent pending, groundbreaking technology, Providence2GO directly
connects users with all the people and places that make Providence so uniquely special. They
can learn what is available around them with just one tap of the app.

Once the Providence2GO app is downloaded and Bluetooth is enabled through an iOS smart
device like an iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch or an iPod Touch, users are able to experience a
Connected City all in one place. When in the "listening range" of a participating organization,
users will receive content specific to where they are, including locals-only tips, special deals
from nearby restaurants and shops, experiences at WaterFire, events at Roger Williams
University, a peek inside the makers studios at AS220, or exhibits at Providence Public
Library—just to name a few.

Loud-Hailer completes NBCUniversal's EDGE Accelerator


Loud-Hailer is proud to announce that it recently completed the inaugural class of NBCU’s
EDGE Accelerator program.

Seven high-level media executives from NBCU and Comcast selected Loud-Hailer and nine
other companies from a pool of hundreds of applicants to participate. The program was geared
toward the development of, and investment in, diverse owned businesses specializing in media,
marketing, production and digital tech.

NBCU Supplier Diversity Director Angela Guzman, and Comcast and NBCU Executive Director
in Supplier Diversity Ajamu Johnson organized and led the EDGE Accelerator over the course
of two months during the summer. The cohorts underwent a substantive curriculum and met
high-level NBCU and Comcast executives, including Peter Kiriacoulacos, the Chief Procurement
Officer at Comcast.

The program completed with a commencement on Thursday, September 21 at 30 Rockefeller
Plaza in New York, which featured business matchmaking for some of the cohorts and an
investor pitch session by other cohorts.
